year’s most big event in sports was that Ichiro Suzuki
broke the major
League
Baseball record for the most hit season in a single
year.
In
the first inning of the Seattle Mariners game against
the Texas Rangers.
Ichiro
made his 257 the hit in the next inning.
Ichiro
made history. He received a standing ovation from audience,
teammate
and opponent.
George
Sisler’s family also attended the game.
Setting
a new MLB record is no small accomplishment.
Ichiro
has established as a baseball hero in two countries
and one
of
the Best players in sports history
Japan
and the U,S must be proud of his record.
I
would like to see his super play in Seattle Stadium
some day.
